Located in secure grounds in Kerobokan, the AIS Bali is built in the traditional Balinese style with purpose-built educational and sports facilities set amidst lush tropical gardens and greenery.
Offering a world-class Australian education from Preschool to Year 12, AIS Bali is a friendly and lively community with an enrolment of 210 students. Our goal is to develop innovative and challenging individual learning programs that will provide a solid foundation for future academic success and personal growth of our students. A team of highly qualified teachers with international experience complements the curriculum.
Curriculum
From PS to Year 6, our integrated curriculum and inquiry-based approach enables our students to become confident learners with sound cognitive, numeracy and literacy skills. We treat English Language, Science, Humanities and Mathematics as high priority learning areas, knowing that the skills and concepts developed during classroom programs underpin learning across the whole curriculum. We also believe that academic learning and success must be balanced by the opportunity to develop and explore new interests. Hence equal emphasis is similarly placed on subjects like Art, Physical Education, Music, LOTE (Indonesian) and Information Technology. These complete the curriculum offered at our Primary School.
From Year 7 to 10, our core curriculum focuses on English Language, Mathematics, Science, Humanities (incorporating History, Geography, Social and Environmental Studies), Information Technology, the Arts, Physical Education and LOTE (Indonesian). In Years 11 to 12, students are able to choose from a range of subjects, in addition to core subjects, to build their own courses. Completion of this two-year fully accredited course qualifies students for entry into universities in Australia and worldwide.
