Borobudur Temple
Borobudur Temple-a magnificent building is the largest Buddha temple in the world.
It has 1.400 reliefs and 504 Buddha stupas in its complex. Its historical and architectural
values made this temple a World Wonder Heritages and a UNESCO protected site.
Borobudur Temple is located on the hill, in Borobudur village, Mungkid, magelang, 42km from Yogyakarta.
It is surrounded by Manoreh Hill from east to west. Mount Merapi, an active volcano, and Mount Merbabu
situated in the east of Borobudur, and Sindoro and Sumbing Mountain situated in the west.
