제가 알고 있는 것은 자카르타내에서는 UNAS에서 언어과정이 있고 (UNAS는 현재 한국분들이 별로 없다고 들었습니다.)
Depok은 UI에서 언어 과정이 있습니다.
다른 지역도 BIPA과정이 있다고 들었습니다. 반둥 , 족자 및 발리 등요..
UI 내 BIPA과정은 보통 정규과정이 1월과 8월에 시작하는 것으로 알고 있습니다. (비용 US$ 1250)
정규과정이외 Pas(단기)과정이 있는데 5월말 부터 시작합니다.(비용 US$ 1000)

BIPA Programs
(Bahasa Indonesia for Non-Native Speakers) Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Indonesia
OBJECTIVES
Indonesian
for Non-native Speakers Program (BIPA Program) is designed to train
international students to actively communicate in both written and
spoken Indonesia. In order to achieve these objectives, BIPA provides
three levels of study with individual curriculum and goals.
- Elementary Level (BIPA 1)
The elementary level aims at giving basic competence to use Bahasa Indonesia with an emphasis on conversational skills, both formal and informal. Cultural awareness also be given to enhance the communication skills. - Intermediate Level (BIPA 2)
At the intermediate level, participants learn to employ different styles of spoken and written Bahasa Indonesia, as well as to study Indonesia's state, administrative, and citizenship systems. - Advanced Level (BIPA 3)
At this level, participants learn to participate in discussion, write essay in Indonesian, and study topics related to Indonesian society and culture (e.g. history, religion, tradition, etc).
PROGRAMES AND LENGTH OF STUDY
Every year, BIPA Program is divided into two programs, which are:
- Regular Program (BIPA Regular)
The Regular Program takes four months, and held from January to May and August to December every year.
Classes are scheduled five days a week: Monday to Friday, from 9.00-12.15 WIB. The language skills taught cover speaking, reading, listening, writing, vocabulary building, and grammar using BIPA's unique materials.
In BIPA 2, participants will have an opportunity to have discussion with public.
In BIPA 3 participants may take one or two of the following courses provided that there are minimums of 5 participants in one class. The courses are: - Jakarta Dialect
- Indonesian Culture and Society
- Issues in Indonesian Law, Politics, and Economy.
Additionally BIPA provides extracurricular activities such as
gamelan music, batik panting, Arumba, traditional dances, and singing.
Exciting short visits to local areas are also arranges to familiarize
participants with daily life of Indonesian Society.
Inter - semester Program (BIPA PAS)
The
inter-semester Program runs from May to July every year. Classes are
scheduled five days a week, Monday to Friday from 08.45-13.15 WIB.
Participants take the same curriculum and materials as those in Regular
Program. The inter-semester Program is an intensive Program, so the
forthcoming participants must at least master Basic Bahasa Indonesia
for daily use.
Apart from Regular and Inter-semester Program, BIPA also offers
Special Program which
is tailored to meet the specific needs and goals of an individual or
groups. Among the services are report writing, reading skills, and
business communication.
INSTRUCTOR
Instructors
are qualified and experienced lecturers of Faculty of Humanities. Most
of them hold Masters and Ph. D in different fields of study, such as
Linguistics, Literature, and other Cultural Sciences. They have years
of experience in teaching Bahasa Indonesia for students of different
nationalities.
ADMISSION PROCEDURES
- Basic Requirement for Applicant
to be qualified to attend BIPA Program, the applicant must graduate from High School level or equivalent, shown by their Diploma. - Application Procedures:
International Students Living Abroad- To study at BIPA Program, the applicant needs a Social Cultural Visa or Student VISA.
Social Cultural Visa
This visa is valid for one or two months stay and can be extended once in a month, up to four times; at the nearby Immigration Offices in Indonesia.
To apply for this visa, the Applicant must send a full copy of their passport (the whole book) to BIPA Office via email or post. BIPA Office will arrange a telex letter (cable visa) for Applicant to obtain a socio cultural visa.
One copy of this letter will be sent directly to the Indonesian Embassy in the applicant's country, and the other copy will be sent to the Applicant via email, fax or post.
With this letter, Applicant can apply Socio Cultural visit visa at the Indonesian Embassy.
STUDENT VISA
This visa is given to the Applicant who is willing to learn at BIPA Program for 3 semesters (1 year).
To apply for this visa, the Applicant must send these following documents to BIPA Office via post or email four (4) months before the program started:
- Application letter
- Applicant's Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Photocopy of the Applicant's Diploma, Transcript, and Academic Certificate
- Photocopy of Applicant's valid Passport (the whole book) (minimum valid date 18 months when the Applicant is applying for Student Visa)
- One recent passport photograph (3x4 cm)
- Statement from Hospital or physician stating that the Applicant is physically and mentally healthy
- A letter from Indonesian Embassy in Applicant's country or from Applicant's Embassy in Indonesia stating the Applicant's nationality and willingness to learn at BIPA Program, Universitas Indonesia.
- A letter from the Applicant's sponsor or guarantor which stated their responsibilities to finance all the Applicant's expenses while studying at BIPA Program.
- A letter which stated the Applicant's willingness to obey the Indonesian rules.
- A letter which stated the Applicant's willingness to obey the regulation in BIPA Program.
BIPA Office will forward the application to the Indonesian Ministry of
Education. After the Ministry of Education issue a Study Permit Letter,
BIPA Office will arrange the telex letter (cable visa) to the
immigration. With the study permit letter and the telex letter (cable
visa), the Applicant can apply the Student Visa at the Indonesian
Embassy.
Within 7 days of Applicant's arrival in Indonesia, the
Applicant must report to BIPA office. BIPA Office will issue a
recommendation letter for the Applicant to apply KITAS and report to
the local police.
BIPA Office can cancel the application if the
Applicant fails to get study permit letter from the Indonesian Ministry
of Education.
International Students Living in Indonesia
KITAS holder or Socio Cultural Visa holder can apply directly to BIPA
Program by bringing a copy of their KITAS or Passport and fill the
application form.
Tuition Fees
Registration fee Rp. 500.000
Placement Test fee Rp. 500.000
Tuition fee: Regular Program US$ 1250 per semester
Inter Semester program US$ 1000 per semester
Fee for telex letter (cable visa) Rp. 500.000;
Payment for Registration, Placement Test and Telex can be made by:
1. Cash at BIPA Office or
2. Transfer to: Account: Dana FIB-2
